From plain to WOW!

Acum câteva zile vă spuneam că Adriana este în căutarea unei perechi noi de ghete. Şi cum inspiraţia i-a venit de pe www.standard-shoes.ro, a decis să facă şi achiziţia tot de acolo. Decizia a fost greu de luat pentru că ea căuta ceva mai... de toată ziua, însă această pereche i-a căzut pur şi simplu cu tronc. Şi cum ar fi putut să fie altfel când o pereche absolut banală de ghete albe a fost transformată în ceva WOW! prin adăugarea acestor strasuri colorate?

Acum, rămâne de văzut cu ce ţinută le va inaugura şi dacă hotărăşte să mai achiziţioneze o pereche pe negru care să fie mai purtabili în viaţa de zi cu zi :))).

The decision was hard because she was looking for something that she could wear on a daily basis, but seeing this pair was just love at first sight. And how could it be any different when an absolutely plain pair of white sneakers turned intro something WOW! by adding some colored rhimestones?

Now the question is with what will she wear them first? And will she decide to buy another pair on black because they would be more enduring?

Sunday's shoe inspiration

A fost un moment în care lumea încălţămintei era simplă, adică femeile purtau pantofi, cu toc din ce în ce mai mare. Apoi, ne-am emancipat şi am trecut la încălţăminte joasă în cele mai multe cazuri. Însă în prezent trăim un moment de cotitură, am putea spune, în istoria papucilor (şi a modei de altfel). Fashionistele de azi reuşesc cu succes să realizeze un amalgam de stiluri, în care elegantul se împleteşte cu stilul casual, pantofii sunt purtaţi cu bluze sport, rochiţele cu cizme punk şi nimeni nu mai poate spune exact care sunt regulile. 

În acest context a apărut această nouă specie de încălţăminte. Prea sport pentru a fi numiţi pantofi, prea înalţi pentru adidaşi, acest tip de ghete sunt ultima pasiune (ca să nu spun obsesie) a Adrianei şi a multor alte femei. 

De ce le plac?

Pentru că sunt comozi, deşi sunt înalţi. 

Pentru că pot fi purtaţi şi cu rochiţe, nu doar cu pantaloni.

Pentru că sunt ceva nou, dar cu foarte mult potenţial. 

După cum poate vă amintiţi din seria Graffity city, Adriana are deja o pereche, dar când vine vorba de papuci, nu poţi avea niciodată prea mulţi :D. 

Rămâneţi pe frecvenţă să vedem ce va alege :P.

But now, we are at what we might call a turning point in shoe history (and fashion history for that matter). Today, fashionistas manage to mix styles with great success. This is the setting in with a new type of shoes appeared. To sporty to be heels, to high for running shoes, this type of sneakers are Adriana's latest passion (even though obsession would be better put), shared with lots of women out there. 

Why do they like them?

Because they are comfortable, without being flats.

Because they cand be worn with dresses, not just jeans.

Because they are new, but they have a lot of potential.

As you may recall from out Graffity city series, Adriana already owns a pair of sneakers, but when it comes to shoes, you can never have too many.
